Search Atlas MCP Server Connects AI Assistants to SEO, Ads, and Content Tools via 21 Scopes
New York, United States - October 2, 2026 / Search Atlas /
Search Atlas, the agentic AI marketing platform, has announced the availability of the Search Atlas API. The REST API provides developers and agencies with programmatic access to the platform's capabilities across SEO, Google Ads, content, local search, and AI search visibility through more than 900 documented operations.
Those operations span 17 product areas, covering technical site audits and fixes, Google Ads campaign management, content creation, Google Business Profile management, keyword and backlink research, and brand visibility tracking for ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, Google AI Mode, and Grok. Each request authenticates with an API key. Search Atlas publishes the full reference as a single OpenAPI 3.1 file, alongside an llms.txt file that directs AI coding assistants to the specification.
"Agencies are building their own agents and internal systems, and they want Search Atlas working inside them," said Manick Bhan, Founder and CEO of Search Atlas. "We published more than 900 operations as one OpenAPI spec, so a developer or an AI coding assistant can wire in site audits, Google Ads campaigns, or AI visibility tracking directly."
Agencies can call the API to pull Search Atlas data into client reporting and to initiate work from their own internal systems. Developers can integrate it into their products or workflows using the published specification.
For teams working inside AI assistants, Search Atlas also operates a hosted Model Context Protocol (MCP) server at mcp.searchatlas.com. The server organizes its functions into 21 scopes, which an AI client can discover and call using the same API key. An open-source connector, released under the MIT license, includes setup support for Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, VS Code with GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, and Zed. Clients that support the protocol's Streamable HTTP transport can connect to the server directly.
API documentation, including the OpenAPI specification and MCP server reference, is available at docs.searchatlas.com.
